YWCA Kokokahi is excited to announce the launch of our Camping Program, now open for small pilot groups as we thoughtfully roll out this offering in Summer 2026.
Nestled in the natural beauty of Kāneʻohe Bay, Kokokahi provides a unique and peaceful setting for groups seeking connection, reflection, and meaningful shared experiences.
With options for an indoor, open air cabins or sprawling outdoor campgrounds, there’s something for every group looking to connect with nature.
Private, scenic retreat cabins surrounded by lush greenery and ocean views. With three versatile suites, including furnished A/C options, it’s the perfect spot for workshops, meetings, retreats, and small group gatherings.

For guests seeking a little more comfort while staying close to nature, Hale Nanea offers a cozy indoor retreat. This thoughtfully furnished cabin features three queen-sized beds with fresh linens, providing a restful home base for your group. Located just steps from indoor restroom facilities and adjacent to our outdoor camping areas, Hale Nanea blends the comforts of indoor accommodations with the beauty and tranquility of the outdoors.

As part of this pilot phase, we are intentionally welcoming a limited number of groups to help us refine the program and ensure a high-quality experience aligned with our mission to gather, grow, and restore well-being.
Currently Accepting the Following Groups:
Nonprofit organizations
Educational and youth development programs
Cultural, environmental, and place-based learning groups
Women’s groups and family-centered retreats
Mission-aligned community organizations and partners
At this time, all camping groups must demonstrate alignment with YWCA Oʻahu’s values, including fostering health, empowerment, leadership, and community connection. Priority is given to groups that incorporate structured programming, cultural respect, and a commitment to mālama ʻāina (care for the land).
Pilot Program Experience Includes:
Access to Kokokahi’s outdoor camping spaces and scenic grounds
Opportunities for group programming, reflection, and community-building
Proximity to the bay and natural resources for educational and cultural activities
A supportive environment guided by YWCA Kokokahi staff during the pilot phase
As we continue to grow this program, feedback from our pilot groups will play a key role in shaping future offerings, amenities, and policies.
